psychotherapist, family counsellor, & life coach

At various points in our lives, we may each grapple with weighty existential questions, a sense of purposelessness, or a deep desire to explore and understand the meaning and direction of our lives.

As an educator, I had the privilege of instructing both graduate and undergraduate students in the broad and comprehensive array of theories within the domain of counseling psychology. As a therapist, while I tailor my approach to the unique needs of each client, I consistently gravitate toward meaning-centered approaches to explore profound questions, core values, and deeply held beliefs.

I provide help for those experiencing:

  • Existential or Midlife Crisis - When a client feels overwhelmed by questions about the meaning of life, mortality, the nature of existence, and their own purpose

  • Existential Angst - Feelings of anxiety, despair, or hopelessness related to existential concerns

  • Spiritual Exploration - Integration of their beliefs, values, and experiences into a coherent framework

  • Legacy Creation - Consideration of how to leave a meaningful legacy, whether through work, family, or community involvement

  • Loss or Grief - The experience of a significant loss, such as the death of a loved one or a major life setback

  • Career Dissatisfaction - Feeling unfulfilled or disillusioned in one's career can trigger a search for meaning in work and life

  • Relationship Challenges - Relationship difficulties, including marital conflicts or breakup, can lead to a sense of emptiness or loss of meaning
