I offer psychotherapy and coaching tailored to (1) adults who are striving and/or high‑achieving, (2) couples and (3) families. All of my services are available in-person, or by video or telephone.

Individual Therapy

As a psychotherapist and family counsellor, I draw from psychodynamic traditions, family systems, cognitive behavioural approaches, mindfulness, and existential thought. I have taught all of the major theories of counselling psychology and I apply what’s helpful from each tradition in the service of your particular concerns.

Examples of issues addressed:

  • Midlife and existential questions

  • Anxiety, low mood, and burnout

  • The impact of family history and long‑standing patterns

  • Identity, belonging, and questions of meaning and purpose

  • The emotional and relational side of high‑stakes decisions

Life Coaching

I provide coaching services for clients who are ready to move from insight to deliberate action, especially around decisions and transitions when the stakes feel high. My coaching sessions are focused, practical, and anchored in clear goals. I work with clients to clarify what matters most, to explore what’s been keeping you stuck, and to design experiments and commitments that honour your values, ambitions, and limits.

Examples of issues addressed:

  • Facing a major career shift or retirement and want to navigate it thoughtfully

  • Considering a change in role, geography, or lifestyle and feel torn between options

  • Wanting to align your work more closely with your values and sense of purpose

  • Trying to work with ADHD in demanding professional environments

Couples & Family Therapy

I believe relationships are fundamental to our well-being. The relationships we have had, those we are engaged in, and those we have yet to experience profoundly shape how we live and relate to ourselves and others. In my work with clients, I help identify patterns of interaction, uncover unspoken expectations, and recognize the pressures each individual carries. This process allows the relational system to realign toward healthier and more adaptive ways of connecting.

Examples of issues addressed:

  • You find yourselves in the same arguments, over and over

  • You are navigating a major transition together (parenthood, relocation, illness, separation, blended families)

  • You want to stay connected while also making room for each person’s growth

  • Family dynamics are affecting your ability to function or decide clearly in other areas of life
